This position will be staff level and report to the VP and President.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
- Complies with all safety policies. Promotes plant housekeeping.
- Contributes technical support, ideas, and implements solutions that will eliminate operational constraints. Technical support includes specific equipment issues as well as general process and maintenance trades knowledge.
- Responds to equipment breakdowns as required by troubleshooting and repairing or directing repairs.
- Supports eMaint operating system
- Supports cost-reduction initiatives with new ideas, creative solutions, and implementations.
- Prepares reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
- Contributes to other plant and divisional activities as directed.
