Maintenance Clerk - Waste Connections

Livermore Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Maintenance Clerk to join the team in our Livermore, CA shop!
The starting pay will be $25-30 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Manage daily administrative operations of a department including compliance, policies and procedures, expense reports, onboarding, etc.
+ Supports the fleet manager with analysis of fleet operations reports. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, and correcting errors.
+ Follows all safety policies and procedures and participates with team to achieve safety goals
+ Manage accounts payable process for Maintenance Department.
+ Demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
+ Maintain shop filing system for a large fleet, maintain hard copy truck /equipment maintenance, mechanic, and compliance files to company standards
+ Order parts for the team.
+ Inventory purchasing, stocking and distribution
+ Maintain RTA parts management software
+ Maintain parts room in accordance with Company policy
+ Warranty tracking
+ Prepare reports as needed using Excel
+ Maintain company PO log and prepare shop A/P for approval
+ Maintain shop truck files
+ Manage oil sample program
+ Occasionally retrieve parts offsite using company vehicle
+ Prepare expense reports
+ Vendor Communication and management
+ Maintain online SDS files
+ Conduct self in an appropriate and safe manner, in accordance District / Company Safety policy.
+ Promote Waste Connections standard operating procedures, which assure efficient environmentally correct and safe workplace practices.
+ Other clerical duties assigned as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements:
+ 2 or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in a fast paced work environment.
+ Strong work experience utilizing MS Word, Excel and Outlook professionally.
+ Exceptional organizing and coordinating skills.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
+ Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
+ Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
+ Ability to learn company specific programs and policies.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds
