• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Prefer to have working knowledge of plant equipment, its operation, and how to repair.
• Prefer experience with Steel work (cutting, welding, and fabrication).
• Prefer experience Piping of air and gas lines.MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR ROTATING shifts, candidate will train on days and then be on nights 7:00 P.M TO 7:00 A.M. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off)
JOB SUMMARY
Works independently under general supervision to perform highly complex tasks such as to diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment and building.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Maintain equipment in plant Must be able to read, write, and comprehend written and verbal instructions, and should be able to comprehend simple to very detailed schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and the ability to setup and operate more complex equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems and make repairs in the areas of his specialties either from experience or with the aid of manuals, wiring diagrams, etc.
• Use basic shop math, including fractions and/or decimals.
• Must often use independent judgment to diagnose equipment problems and analyze best method for desired results.
• Must have a high degree of manual dexterity and be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
• Comply with all site required policies and procedures including but not limited to: EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Selects proper tools and parts with the aid of blueprints, schematics, or diagrams when available.
2. Uses a variety of testing devices such as leak detectors and electrical instruments.
3. Maintains department in a clean and orderly manner and cleans around area where equipment was repaired in a production department.
4. Performs other duties as required.
5. Complies with all EHS rules related to the work environment.
6. Works Overtime when needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Requires wearing safety glasses, flame retardant clothing, earplugs, Metal tarsal shoes, Hard Hats, Respirator, Caustic Suit and other department specified PPE
• Report all job-related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
• Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EHS training.

• Exposure to Nickel, Heat, KOH and RCF.
• May be exposed to noise, oil, dust, fumes, chemicals, heat, cold, or wetness.
• Some exposure to changes in seasonal temperatures.
