Maintenance Assistant/Painter - Maloney Properties, Inc.

The Maintenance Assistant/Painter will support our portfolio of residential properties in Worcester and the surrounding towns. You will join our maintenance team and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Painting vacant and occupied units, ensuring that apartment turnovers are completed and cleaned in a timely manner. 
• Painting common areas and offices to ensure that walls and ceilings are kept in good condition. 
• Touching up exterior paint on porches, ramps, entry areas, etc. 
• Assisting Maintenance Technicians and Superintendents with moving items such as appliances and other duties, as needed. 
• Providing access to contractors and delivering notices to residents, as needed.

The work hours are 7:00-3:00 Monday through Friday. You will report to multiple sites in the Worcester area. 

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. 

• Previous painting experience is required. 
• Basic computer and smartphone skills are required; experience with a work order system such as Yardi is preferred. 
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
