Maintenance Assistant - Lotus Village

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join our team and support the upkeep of our facility.

Position Overview: As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the facility. This includes general repairs, preventative maintenance, and assisting with the daily operations to provide a pleasant and well-maintained environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems (e.g., lighting, appliances, plumbing, etc.).

• Assist with daily upkeep of the building, including janitorial and safety checks.

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents and staff.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff.

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with all safety standards.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, as needed.

• Assist in ordering and maintaining supplies for maintenance-related tasks.

• Participate in the facility’s emergency response plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in facility maintenance, construction, or related field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
