Qualifications:
· More than 10 years of experience in production support along with software development or software integration projects 5 years' experience with Mainframe Operating Systems, very familiar with z/OS structure, flow, parameters, and security15 years' experience with installing, using SMP/e and performing capacity planning for Mainframe z/OS and associated products
· A minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers directly.
· Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills; ability to provide hands-on technical support and analysis
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
· Passionate about learning new technologies
Nice to have:
· Exposure to support process.
· Management consulting experience
· Experience on Mainframes, MQ series, Java, J2EE, Unix Scripting, etc.
· Experience working with various verticals (i.e. financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, technology)
· Familiarity with supporting J2EE applications that use WebSphere and Apache
