Job Title: Mainframe MQ System programmer
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Day 1 onsite)
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
Knowledge on Installation, migration and maintenance of MQ and related products.
Understand and work on ISV Products like IBM Tivoli Omegamon XE, IBM MQ explorer, MQ visual edit, MQAUSX v3.5 (capitalware) and homegrown tools.
Knowledgeable in MQ system performance and Tuning as well as MQ Monitoring.
Knowledge on QSG configuration/setup, CFSTRUCT, SMDS and Group object (qlocal, channel, Qremote, Process)definition.
Understanding of how application interacts with MQ
Knowledge on SMP/E, HOLDDATA, early codes, Zones/Libraries, System libraries, End of life, Review implementation procedures and make recommendations to ensure a smooth product release and system upgrades.
Understanding of z/OS functions such as: APF, LINKLIST, LPA, VSAM.
Ability to perform problem determination as well as interface with IBM problem support group.
Familiar with Disaster Recovery procedures and test.
Understanding of ACF2 Security
Knowledge of sysview for MQ
