Mainframe Db2 Subsystem Programmer at Gardner Resources Consulting

Mainframe Db2 Subsystem programmer will provide support on IBM Mainframes

• Experience with Db2z DataSharing group
• Planning and implementing regular Db2 z/OS RSU maintenance.
• Planning, testing and implementing Db2 z/OS version upgrades.
• DB2 subsystem performance tuning such as bufferpools, workfile space, coupling facility structures.
• Oncall 24 X 7 support during oncall week and weekend support
• Quick troubleshooting and problem solving for Db2 Subsystem, DBA and Application issues.
• Disaster Recovery planning and testing.

Tools installation, upgrades and customization, maintenance and troubleshooting support of the following:

• IDAA ( Netezza and LinuxOne), lDAA Loader, IIDR (SQL and Queue Replication for DB2 z/OS), Admin Tool and Object Compare, Query Monitor, Db2 Sort, QMF, Log Analysis Tool, Optim, Compuware suite.
