Randstad Federal is seeking a Mainframe Application Architect in support of a federal program at IRS
location: BETHESDA, Maryland
job type: Contract
salary: $90 - 100 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Bachelors
responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to design, development, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized BMF platform and also support day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work based on IRS priorities. Provide for project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- At least 15 years of experience with Architectural frameworks and how to design applications
- Experience developing physical and logical architecture, leveraging client template/process
- At least 15 years of work experience demonstrating knowledge of z/OS, Assembly Language, DB2, QSAM, IMS, CA Endevor, BMC Control-M, JCL and other core IBM mainframe technologies.
Nice to have skills:
Active IRS MBI Clearance Highly Desirable
