Mailroom Clerk - Willow Valley Communities

Willow Valley is hiring a Mailroom Clerk to provide oversight to the Lakes and/or Manor Campus mailrooms, coordinate and assist with all aspects of  distributions. The Mailroom Clerk will be the point of contact for the mailrooms and is responsible for the day-to-day functions and operations of the mailrooms. They are responsible for coordinating volunteer schedules, provide training and assistance to Resident volunteers.

Wage:

• From $17.50/hr + based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintains a professional manner and appearance.
• Responsible to provide oversight and act as point of contact for the mailroom issues/concerns.
• Establish universal standards, practices and guidelines across mailrooms.
• Ensure timely mail distribution of USPS mail for WVC.
• Coordinate and ensure timely distribution of in-house mail distributions.
• Assist with mail delivery as needed.
• Deliver in-house mail to the outer buildings.
• Assist with production of in-house publications as needed.
• Work with RLC to promote volunteerism and maintain/manage volunteer schedule.
• Provide oversight, recruitment, leadership & training for the mailroom volunteers.
• Collaborate with Concierge desk regarding packages.
• Ensure current postage rates & information are posted/available.
• Be able to work independently

Qualifications:

• Strong communications and relational skills preferred for Resident/Staff interactions.
• Must possess a valid Drivers’ License.
• Problem solving skills for daily multi-tasking.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or
  training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• USPS/Mailroom experience required. 

Hours:

• 40 hrs/week

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, occasional Saturdays
