About the Job
Role
As a Machinist (also known as Equipment Technician, Machine Operator), you'll be responsible for machining operations required to manufacture and repair fluid film bearings, seals, and “contract machining”. You'll manufacture and inspect detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions using a variety of machining tools and equipment. You'll also determine how to set up machines based on instructions received and perform minor equipment repairs.

- Technical degree from a trade school or community college; or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and company, customer, and governmental specifications and regulations.
- Familiarity with Okuma, Hyundai, Bullard VTL, Fanuc, and other machine tools.
