Responsibility Summary – Machinist in Training:

• Set up machinery for new production runs.
• Operate machinery to produce finished parts.
• Check parts for quality assurance using micrometers and calipers.

Qualification Summary – Machinist in Training:

• High school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is however preferred
• Machining Experience making small batch runs and/or custom parts.
• Experience setting up machinery using blueprints or drawing.
• High mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
