Duration: 6+ Months contract
Pay: $36- $39/hr.

Volt is immediately hiring an Machinist in ELK RIVER, Minnesota 55330
As a Machinist , you will be responsible for:
- Operates fabricating machines, such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Positions stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
- Looking for CNC Operators, Preferred skills in tool changes, set ups, fixture changes
- Sets-up, runs and programs a variety of machines that include CNC, production porting equipment, lathes, vertical mills.
- Runs multiple machines as required by process or as directed.
- Ability to edit programs to control machining of parts by automatic machine tool operation-preferred but not required.
- Set-Up - most critical area of the job
- Performs complex set-ups on CNC machine tools
