We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Sales Account Manager specializing in the machine vision sector, with a focus on the Transportation and Logistics (T&L) vertical.
In this role, you'll play a key part in expanding our customer base, nurturing key accounts, and driving sales growth for our state-of-the-art machine vision products. This remote position will involve up to 50% travel. Applicants must reside in the US within either the central or eastern time zones.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs, and providing tailored solutions using our machine vision products.
Develop and implement strategic sales strategies tailored to high-value accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally to navigate complex sales cycles, anticipating challenges and proactively addressing them.
Create comprehensive account plans outlining long-term objectives and strategies for sustained growth.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the machine vision sector.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging market insights to drive innovation.
Serve as the primary executive-level point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are not only met but exceeded.
Work closely with technical support and customer service teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of B2B technical sales experience in machine vision, robotics, and/or automation solutions.
Residency in the US within either the central or eastern time zones. Up to 50% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference given to applicants residing near Detroit, MI, or Toledo, Ohio.
Experience in one or more vertical markets (Transportation, Logistics, Distribution, or Warehousing) is desired.
In-depth understanding of machine vision technologies and their applications.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strategic sales approach with a focus on delivering value to customers.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and quotas.
