Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise machine shop personnel
• Promote a customer-focused culture within the organization
• Schedule and prioritize machining jobs
• Operate machining tools and machines
• Order raw materials
• Manage all quality records associated with the shop
• Coordinate with Engineering on R&D projects and assist with design reviews
• Create simple jigs, fixtures, and tooling needed for the machine
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Supervisory training and/or experience
• 5 years of experience with setup and operation of CNC machine tools
• Ability to multi task
• Experience with 3-axis milling is required
• Experience with Solidworks or equivalent CAD software is required
• Experience with 5-axis milling is preferred
• EDM experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of machine tools and the ability to read prints and sketches
