As a Machine Shop Set-Up Technician you will:

As a Machine Shop Set-Up Technician you will:
- Assist the machine shop manager and programmers in setting up and running jobs.
- Work with sophisticated HAAS and Matsuura Machining centers (11 mills and 1 lathe), some with 5-axis and pallet changing capabilities.
- Collaborate with the QC department to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
- Ability to program, design, and make fixtures is helpful.
Pay Ranges from $22-28/hr
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Setup and machine castings and hog outs.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with vertical and horizontal mills.
- Experience with lathes is a plus.
- Understand GD&T call outs and requirements.
- Communicate technical information with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel.
- Programming HAAS CNC machines is a plus.
- Experience with CAM software is a plus.
- Experience designing and creating fixtures is a plus.
- Experience with AS9100 is a plus.
- Being bilingual is a plus.
