Machine Operator - Ultimate Staffing Services

I am currently recruiting for a Machine Operator position for a Manufacturing/Distribution Company. They are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. r is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.

• This is a full time Direct Hire Opportunity
• $21-24 Hourly Depending on Experience
• Monday through Friday, overtime on the weekends
• 2 Shifts available
• 5am to 5pm and 5pm to 5am
• 12 Hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed, parameters)
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesand fully automated machines.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Alert leadership when issues or production problems hurt operations.
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or quality defects and document it
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Responsible for accurate production reporting including volumes produced, quality aspects of product, and all required paperwork .

Skills Desired

• Prior Experience with Paper Converting machines a Plus!
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (tape measure)
• Understanding of production procedures and GMP is a plus
