Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydromat Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Hydromat machines, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Hydromat machines to produce precise components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues.
- Proven experience in machining, with a strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Hydromat machines and screw machine setups is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Previous experience with Davenport, Acme Gridley, or similar machinery is advantageous.
