Your Job Overview
- Set up and operate multiple packaging/processing machines to ensure accurate specs & weights and that the product conforms to both customer and company specifications
- Ensure product is properly coded, dates and sealed with a minimum amount of wasted products and supplies
- Test package quality index including packaging quality, box labels, prices, dates, and registration
- Responsible for ensuring that all production areas remain clean and maintained.
- Keeps assigned machines and area clean and safe from trip hazards
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines, to include cleaning and changing knives/blades, pull belts, tape, hoses, rollers and/or any other assigned equipment
- Responsible for inspecting conveyers and scales prior to line start-up and changeovers
- Clean and sanitize lines during changeovers from one product to another
- Will be required to use chemicals and protective gear
- Other duties as assigned
- Overtime may be required
- The accurate & timely completion of all paper work as assigned by the site leadership team
- Complete tracking of material consumption for your respective area
Qualifications
- Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction
- Good leadership and training skills
- Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of manuals and machine controls
- Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs
- Great time management
- Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues
- Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time
- All Operators must complete the assigned CLF Training and assessments
EDUCATION
- Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent
- Certificate from accredited college or trade school
OR
- Applicants must have of the following:
- 5 years of work experience
- Industrial technology degree
Your Reporting Schedule
As a leader of your line, you are expected to help guide the day to day operations of your line and/or area. You should demonstrate the ability to be an effective teach, coach, and mentor to the associates that are allocated to your line/area. Your conduct should be representative of the values of CooLab Foods LLC. You report directly to the Production Supervisor who reports the the Plant Manager

Hourly: $20-24,
