Machine Operator at LSI Staffing

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Promotional Product Machine Operator to join our production team. As a machine operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machines used to manufacture promotional products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in machine operation, production processes, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor machines used in the production of promotional products (e.g., printers, embossers, die-laser etchers, etc.) according to established guidelines and safety procedures.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure that all products meet the required quality standards. Make adjustments as necessary to improve product quality.
• Machine Maintenance: Perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning, adjusting, and troubleshooting minor issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Production Monitoring: Ensure machines are running efficiently to maintain optimal output.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including counts, materials used, and any issues that arise during production.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, lead operators, and other team members to meet production targets and address any challenges.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment. Report any unsafe conditions or accidents immediately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.
