Job Details

Responsibilities

Operate Davenport machines, ensuring they are set up correctly and functioning optimally.
Perform routine equipment maintenance to prevent malfunctions and ensure the longevity of the machines.
Use precision measurement tools to ensure products meet exact specifications.
Troubleshoot any issues with the Davenport machines, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Collaborate with other machine operators and team members to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Document and report any irregularities or issues to the supervisor.
Continuously improve operations by suggesting changes and participating in improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Davenport Machine Operator in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in the use of Okuma, Mill, and Lathe machines.
Comprehensive understanding of precision measurement and equipment maintenance.
Proven troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve issues effectively.
Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate and prevent problems before they occur.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, as the role involves manual handling.
