Machine Operator - Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating mesh welders, handling materials, and utilizing various tools to ensure efficient production while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Job Description: Machine Operator
- Shift:6:30pm to 7 am
- Pay: $19.00 - $22.00
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operated machines and handled materials, focusing on loading mesh and wire and catching parts to stack them on skids.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Utilize computer-operated equipment as needed.
- Ensure the quality of work meets established standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Adhere to safe work practices in compliance with O.S.H.A. regulations.
- Operate various machines and assist in different departments as required.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Meet or exceed production goals and ensure order commitments are fulfilled.
- Follow process monitoring instructions accurately.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, or management.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Proficient in using a micrometer and tape measure.
- Capable of heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality
