Machine Operator - Spherion

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to manage and maintain machinery in our production facility. A Machine Operator role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production. The ideal candidate for the Machine Operator will prioritize safety, maintain high-quality standards, and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machines according to production guidelines and specifications.
Monitor equipment performance and address any malfunctions or inconsistencies.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
Inspect finished products for defects to ensure they meet quality standards.
Document production metrics, downtime, and maintenance activities accurately.
Follow workplace safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Working hours: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
Understanding of mechanical operations and equipment.
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Technical training or certification in machinery operation or maintenance.
Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production setting.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.
