Job Description:
- Operators are expected to adapt to a production type environment. Production jobs are repetitive jobs that run day in, day out on a consistent basis. He/she is required to load & unload material into the machines. When the cycle is complete the operator is required to inspect parts using various inspection tools as well as filling out in-process inspection documents. He/she is expected to be responsible of a minimum of two machines daily. The operator may be required to deburr their own parts depending on the type of job they are running. On the job training will be provided in most cases. When issues arise during the production shift, the operator is required to inform a level 2 or higher personnel immediately to help resolve the issue rather than attempting to fix on their own.
- Ability to make offsets on cutting tools during in-process production on their own machines & also support offsets/tool changes for level 1 operators (training will be provided). The operator will be expected to work with management and quality control personnel to address production or quality issues.
Requirements:
- Able to read customer drawings or inspection documents
- Able to use inspection tools (verniers, micrometers, drop indicators, eye loupes, etc…)
- Read, speak & understand English
- Must have reliable transportation & attendance
- Able to consistently work 40+hrs/week
- No formal education requirements
