MACHINE OPERATOR - Spherion

As a Machine Operator Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within our warehouse. This position requires heavy equipment operation, heavy lifting, and mechanical knowledge.

Desired candidates must be able to work in Norcross until the end of June/first part of July then be able to work in Buford.

This is a full time, salaried with benefits role.

Responsibilities:
- Will be running a winding machine winding wire onto wooden spools
- Operate forklifts and cherry pickers as needed
- Safely transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse
- Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counting
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
