Claybourne Industries, one of the fastest growing cannabis flower brands in California, is seeking a skilled and responsible Machine Operator to join our team and manage our automatic cannabis pre roll production machine. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the machine, producing high-quality cannabis prerolls, and meeting production goals. This position requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor automatic cannabis pre roll production machines to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate machine settings as necessary to achieve desired output quality and quantity.
- Conduct routine inspections of the machine to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Monitor production process to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the machine, equipment, and surrounding areas.
- Perform regular maintenance on the machine and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
- Accurately record production data, including batch records and quality control information.
- Assist with the packaging and labeling of finished products.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safe handling of cannabis materials and products.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing or cannabis-related industry.
- Knowledge of and experience with automated production machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 50 pounds).
- Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This role may involve standing for extended periods, working in a production environment, and exposure to cannabis materials.
- Must be willing to work in accordance with the established production schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
- $17.00 to start......potential pay rate increase after 90 days
- eligible for health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance) within 60 days of start date.
