Detailed Job Description

A company in Oberlin is seeking an M1 -3 Saw Machine Operator. Responsibilities will include operating various saws and multiple other machines throughout the plant. Material handling (operate PIT), lifting parts up to 35 pounds, packing parts and follow job travelers (work instructions) and blueprints as well as inspect parts using required inspection tools: micrometers/calipers, etc. Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting is REQUIRED (1+ year), preferably operating saws. For Single Station machine: nice to have some welding knowledge and / or experience with the ability to determine what a good weld looks like. MUST be able to read a tape measure down to 1/32nd. Computer knowledge is desired. Typical hours: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM; occasional Saturday 6:00AM-12:00PM. Temporary to hire opportunity, benefits available once hired in.
