Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Character of Position
As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for all activities related to shop and or machine maintenance, and any required outside grounds keeping as needed.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for repairing and maintaining 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines
- Maintains operation of all machines, tools, and equipment
- Responsible for preventative machine maintenance program and troubleshooting
- Maintain and implement departmental OSHA standards and safety issues
- Responsible for filling out and keeping records of all repairs and machine check results
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining any company owned machine tools
- Must be able to achieve quality and production goals
- Responsible for machine supplies, such as oils, filters, and bearings
- Assist with special projects
- Attend to all building issues
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Excessive knowledge of Siemens 840D controllers, Siemens step 7 PLC, Heidenhan CNC 530 controller
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints
- Ability to work with and without supervision
- Personal effectiveness/credibility
- Clear and consistent communication with team
- Thorough knowledge of CNC Machines and basic building maintenance
Requirements
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
