The Mac Machinist Apprentice will assist in machining equipment operation and maintenance while learning the trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and operating CNC machines
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read technical documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree in machining or related field
- Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude
