M/H2 / Stand-Up Forklift Operator!
$16.50 per hour
1st shift Mon-Fri 7am to 3:00pm
Background and drug tests are required for review of eligibility, all pre-screening is performed at no cost to the applicant.
Position: M/H2 / Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Pay rate: $16.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift - 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
Experience Requirement's: experienced Stand-up forklift
POSITION SUMMARY
The Material Handler II position utilizes at least a single piece of automated material handling equipment as required by their assigned job function. Intermediate knowledge of RF scanners and the WMS system is required in the day-to-day operation. In-depth training and decision-making skills are required of this position. Successful employees will have a basic knowledge of the distribution center operations, including knowledge of the location scheme and customer requirements.

Job Knowledge
The Material Handler II requires intermediate skills, manual dexterity and basic training for execution of day-to-day function. This position is responsible for recording all relevant daily production information on timesheets. Intermediate knowledge of RF/Fixed Station (PC) functionality is also necessary (2+ options).
Essential Job Functions
- Accurately read carton labels, price labels, SKU labels, etc.
- Accurately locate product (bending, stooping, and reaching) on pallets and anchoring locations using material handling equipment and/or manual labor.
- Meet production standards/goals as set by supervisors and operations managers.
- Carry out job duties in a safe manner and responsible for condition of RF scanner and other equipment (PC’s, scanners, printers, etc.)
- Maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Light manufacturing, including operation of shrink-wrap equipment, screw guns.
- Deposit rubbish in the correct collection container (Recycling).
- Full understanding of relevant paperwork (i.e. bills of lading, packing lists, manifests, etc)
- Capable of retrieving material from high rack locations.
- Full understanding of the safe and practical use of material-handling equipment.
- Understanding of customer requirements regarding label placement, shipping techniques, palletizing methods, etc.
- Capable of executing all essential job functions of the Material Handler I position.
- Capacity to train others.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Must be punctual and able to meet attendance requirements per attendance policy.
- Assume other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- A Material Handler II is expected to perform any function which has been trained.
Communication Requirements
The Material Handler II must be able to communicate effectively when dealing with other associates, supervisors and staff. This includes the use of nonverbal communication including eye contact, body language and posture.

Physical Requirements
The Material Handler II must have the necessary physical strength to perform the tasks required of the position. The job setting is a warehouse environment.
Essential Functions
- Ability to stand and/or walk for a full shift.
- Ability to perform tasks that require repetitive motion for a full shift.
- Ability to use left/right hand to operate equipment for a full shift.
- Ability to reach above and/or below shoulders for up to two-thirds of a full shift.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl for up to two-thirds of a full shift.
- Ability to talk and/or listen for up to one-third of a full shift.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds for a full shift.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds for up to one-half of a full shift.
- Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds for up to 25 feet.
- Ability to lookup for a full shift.
- Ability to travel to heights exceeding 10 feet using material-handling equipment.
