- Sales Development: Develop new project leads and run point as an individual salesperson within the company.
- Lead Generation: Develop lead sources from architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
- Design Point Management: Run design point for projects from assigned studio floor days or as assigned by the Principal Designer.
- Design Development: Develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for initial pricing and presentation.
- Client Management: Run client meetings, procure design agreements, and manage all client communications.
- Project Management: Work with project managers to produce plans, elevations, specifications, mechanical plans, and pricing.
- Proposal Creation: Create proposals and presentations, ensuring all pricing and designs are reviewed and approved by the Senior Designer and/or Principal Designer.
- Finish Selections: Develop finish selections and source all materials for projects.
- Contract Management: Develop jobs through approved kitchen contracts and maintain job file/server organization.
- Sales Tracking: Maintain sales tracking information on ONE NOTE and report updates weekly to the Senior Designer and Principal Designer.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate and direct project managers assigned to your projects and ensure seamless communication with CP installation staff.
- Profitability Maintenance: Maintain profitability standards throughout the course of each project.
- Experience: Extensive experience in luxury kitchens design and sales, including baths, wardrobes/closets, libraries, home offices, pantries, and outdoor kitchens.
- Industry Knowledge: Broad experience in both contemporary and traditional manufactured luxury kitchens design and sales with luxury national and international brands.
- Sales Record: Proven record of sales development and contract closing at a kitchen design firm, interior design firm, or similar role involving millwork and cabinetry.
- Design Knowledge: Broad knowledge base and experience with interior design, including education or prior firm experience, understanding design styles, materials sourcing, art history, and current design trends.
- Technical Skills: Excellent skills in developing concept plans and presentations using AutoCad.
- Software Proficiency: Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, OneNote, Word, Publisher, etc.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate a cohesive team to achieve successful design and sales outcomes.
