About the Job
The Luxury Division Manager for Johnson Brothers of Nevada is responsible for delivery on goals for new account placements of Luxury Wine and Spirits in restaurants, resorts, and fine wine retail shops.
Job Description:
Aggressively pursues anddeliversquarterly goals of newaccountspurchasingforluxury wine & Spirits in On Premise and Fine Wine Retail.
Delivers incremental quarterly revenue goalsand develops new wine list and BTG menu placements based on set quarterly goal in assigned influential accounts.
Owns and drives the sales ofluxury portfolio and drivesan elevated levelof account advocacy for those brands within preassigned account list.
Builds strong- long-term value-added relationships with assigned accounts.
Builds and promotes afine wine and craft spirits culture within theon-premiseteam.
Owns relationships & visibility with buyers.
Exceedsbuyer expectations and continually differentiates from the competition.
Acts as a valued partner and consultant to the customer.
Communicates a high- level of enthusiasm and knowledge to inspire and place trust with buyers.
Fully understands the story andluxury component/traits of each brand.
Can communicate these stories in a public speaking format clearly and concisely to buyers and consumers.
Makes regular calls on assigned accounts toprovidea high-level relationship between the account and the portfolio.
Continually evaluates the entire beverage program to include wine list, bar program, drink list.
Provideshigh-level, professional staff training regularly to drive staff awareness of existing and new PODS.
Accomplishes consumer event activation goals quarterly.
Providescreative event ideas to drive newplacements, incremental revenue for Johnson Brothersand the account.
Understands the concept of sellingand consultingthe right product in the right account.
Moves seamlessly during a customer call from presenting to asking for the order andestablishstaff training to seat the brands in the account.
Maintains intellectual awareness of global and local trendsregardingwinestyles andspirit trends.
Continuallyidentifiesnew and emerging prestigeluxury account opportunities and implements strategies to secure and growluxury business.
Manage execution of luxury allocations in relationship with key accounts.
Fully understands Luxury pricing structure of wine and spirit portfolio and sellsluxury not price.
Requirements:
4-yearBA/BS college degree (preferred)
Previousbeverage sales management experience
Industry Certification(s) (i.e.,WSET 2/3, Certified Sommelier1/2,CSW, CSS, etc.)
Strong working product knowledge of wine and liquor
Strong interpersonal skills with focus on communication and problem-resolution
Strong ability to multi-task efficiently within given time parameters
Excellentplanning/organizationalskills necessary to achieve businessgoals
Customer service and results-oriented
Computer proficient: MS Office
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
