We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking a Blender Technician in Lewisville, TX.
The Blending Operator is responsible for the production of various botanical blends and raw materials in bulk form as directed by the production batch ticket. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, creation and packaging of product blends, including verification of each ingredient being added to the batch, adhering to the manufacturing steps outlined and completing the batch ticket as required.
Responsibilities:
Filling containers with product
Packaging, labeling the finished goods
Assists with cleaning. Cleaning agent is essentially dawn dish soap and water. No hazardous solutions are used.
A 3% peroxide solution is used on some equipment along with a 70% IPA solution in a spray bottle – both are similar to what consumers purchase OTC.
Transporting product/materials via a hand push cart and pallet jack.


Requirements:
• Must haves: Liquid Manf experience 'of some type' (2 years) Liquid dispensing and/or handling. Reading and understand English is required due to labeling language.
• More than 1 year general manufacturing experience.
• More than 1 year material handling experience.
• Forklift Operation


Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property

Education: High school diploma
Location: Lewisville, TX
Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $19.00 – 20.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule: M-F, 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Length of Assignment: Contract (3-6 months)
