LTE Broadband Engineer at Danta Technologies

We are seeking a LTE Broadband Engineer in Dallas, TX (Onsite)

The client is looking for a highly skilled telecom professional with expertise in Ericsson virtualized 4G/5G mobile packet core architecture and IP/MPLS networks.

Overall, they need a:

🔹 Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in-depth Ericsson 4G/5G EPC and IP/MPLS network experience
🔹 Strong troubleshooter who can analyze call flows & Layer 2/3 messages
🔹 Network designer & planner who can create HLD/LLD, test plans, and MOPs
🔹 Performance optimizer who can define & improve KPIs & counters
🔹 Security-aware engineer with a solid grasp of EPC security concepts
🔹 Lifecycle & upgrade expert for network performance validation

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Ericsson virtualized 4G/5G mobile packet core architecture
• Experience in detailed design phase of EPC projects including developing the CIQ, HLD, and LLD
• Design technical acceptance (TA) test procedures and Method of Procedures (MOPs)
• Experience writing and formalizing best practice documents
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex core, transport, and RAN network issues including the analysis of end-to-end call flows and layer 2/3 messaging
• Define and monitor end-to-end Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), making sure that the correct counters and measurement settings are used
• Propose new KPIs, measurements, and counters
• Life cycle management of the EPC including configuration management and evolution planning
• Prepare Engineering drawings and presentations using MS Visio and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of cyber security concepts and applications as they relate to the EPC and the overall LTE network
• Ability to provide operational support for all 4G/5G network elements
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IP/MPLS network architecture and routing protocols
• Validation of network performance after Software upgrades, system configuration changes and new feature deployments
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP Standards
