Our client is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Sterling area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
*Monitor and assess residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
*Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care and other medical interventions as needed.
*Perform G Tube feedings and ensure proper nutrition and hydration for residents.
*Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and medical treatments.
*Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
*Educate residents and caregivers on health management and medication protocols.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
*Current LPN license in good standing in Virginia or have a "Multi-state Privilege" license eligible to work in multiple states.
*Proven experience in medication administration and G Tube feeding.
*Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
*Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the group home location.
