Focal Point Medical Staffing is hiring LPN's/ RN's for per diem (PRN) positions at one of our Assisted Living facility partners in Concord, NC! See below for full details and benefits.

Salary Range: $35.00- $45.00/hr.

Position Requirements: 

• Current LPN/ RN License in the state where employed, with no restrictions on NCBON.
• Two forms of identification (Driver's License and Social Security card)
• COVID Vaccination
• Most recent Negative PPD (within last 12 months) OR Chest X-ray (within last 5 years)
• BLS Certification within the last 2 years
• 1+ years of LPN/RN experience
• 6+ months of previous experience in a Long-Term Care and/or Assisted Living setting 
• Clean criminal background and the ability to pass a drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable transportation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Administer medication and treatments as instructed by a physician or RN
• Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate
• Assist with medical procedures
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers and physical therapists, to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families about their medications, treatments, and healthcare needs
• Perform basic nursing tasks, such as wound care, catheterization, and IV administration
• Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in electronic medical records

Working Conditions: 

The LPN/RN will be required to work in a healthcare facility, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. The job may require the LPN/RN to lift and move patients or heavy equipment. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
