The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the general supervision of a physician, RN or appropriate health care professional in providing nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. The LPN practices within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and the Standards, Policies and Procedures of Carney Hospital. He/she reports to the Practice Manager or designee. |

I. Education: LPN must be a graduate of an accredited program in nursing and registered pursuant to MA General Laws, Chapter 112. II.
