Key responsibilities
Provide basic patient care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians
Administer medications and treatment according to physician's orders
Assist in the assessment of patient health status and document findings
Collaborate with the healthcare team to devise and implement individualized care plans
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any deviations from normal parameters
Perform wound care and dressing changes as necessary
Assist with patient education and communication of discharge instructions
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and nursing practices
Participate in the review and update of nursing care procedures and protocols
Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Support in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes of patients
Maintain accurate and complete patient records and reports
Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide prompt interventions
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities
Required qualifications
Completion of a state-approved LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse program
Current LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of practice
Strong understanding of nursing principles and practices
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care responsibilities
Excellent clinical and assessment skills
Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Basic computer skills for electronic health record documentation
Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional conduct
Ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments and demands
Physical stamina and emotional resilience to handle the demands of the role
Willingness to pursue continuous learning and skills enhancement
Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality regulations
