We are looking for a reliable LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - to care for our residents in a professional and considerate manner for our 7-3, 3-11 and 11-7 shifts. The nurse ( LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse ) will work under the supervision of our Director of Nursing. The ideal nurse - LPN - candidate will be experienced in providing diverse nursing care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Responsibilities

• Nurse will record patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Administer prescribed medications, dress wounds and assist with other medical care tasks
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family on progress

Skills

• Proven experience as LPN ( Licensed Practical Nurse ) or (NEW GRADUATES)
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Knowledge of medical and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate
• Successful completion of LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - license program is a must

Salary: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour
