The Position:
- Establish systems of treatments and medication administration that ensure safety, therapeutic outcomes, efficiency and the opportunity to evaluate the residents needs
- Document into the medical record all relevant changes and or challenges
- Lead the caregivers and inspire them to grow into their fullest potential
- Work with MD and CNP to establish needs and to implement all care as ordered
- Provide a therapeutic support to families providing time, patience, trust and effective communication
- Support the Department heads and create a synchronicity with the Director of Nursing
- Always be a strong and respectful advocate for the residents
- Encourage and support the sales efforts of the community
- Complete all other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN in Illinois
- Minimum of one year experience working with the aging population is preferred but not required
- Upholding nursing best practice and standards of care for an aging population
- Comprehension and adherence to state regulations
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holiday
