Cassia is seeking an LPN to work as an Assisted Living Reimbursement Specialist at our Corporate Office in Edina, MN! In this role, you will ensure that cares match reimbursement rates for Assisted Living residents on waivered programs (EW, CADI, BI, etc) as well as private pay rates cover costs to provide care.
This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position. This position is based at our Corporate Office and will require some travel to our different sites. Out of state traveling will only be a couple times per year at most. For your commitment, we will pay you a $5,000 bonus! (bonus payout will be discussed in the interview)
Pay: $34 to $37 / hour depending on experience.
Assisted Living Reimbursement Specialist Responsibilities:
Assist site staff in developing 24-hr CL tool for all incoming admissions on waivers as well as current residents coming onto waivers to ensure services are fully maximized in the tool.
Review on a scheduled, regular and on-going basis waivered residents services and CL tool to ensure any changes to services/care plan are represented on resident’s CL tool.
Assist site staff to ensure all waiver information is appropriately reflected and uploaded into Eldermark and information is kept up-to-date.
Work with resident’s county case managers to ensure changes in condition of waivered residents are communicated and new CL tools updated.
Work with resident’s county case managers to ensure that annual CL tools are completed annually, with changes in condition (including post-hospitalization if changes occur)
Work with site staff to ensure that any changes to CL tools are communicated and updated in Eldermark.
Work closely with Cassia A/R department to ensure all changes are captured and billed appropriately.
Regularly train site nursing and administrative staff on waivered practices and protocols and their role in the process.
Assist site teams to ensure private pay resident cares match billing.
Review private pay pricing covers costs to provide care and make recommendations where there are pricing gaps.
Perform additional tasks as requested.
Assisted Living Reimbursement Specialist Requirements:
LPN licensure in MN and in good standing.
Experience working with waivers in the Assisted Living sphere are preferred.
Must have one year of billing education or experience.
Familiar with Medical Assistance/EW programs and systems.
Able to maintain an organized schedule of workload set forth by the supervisor.
Able to ensure that all office equipment is in good operating order.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Able to communicate ideas effectively.
Conveys a positive attitude towards safety and loss control areas.
Able to type data/transactions.
Familiar with English composition, rules of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Able to use a computer and to learn various software applications.
Familiar with accounting/bookkeeping functions.
Is a self-motivator and able to work under pressure with interruptions.
