The LP Property Assistant provides Administrative Support to 3-4 LP Property Managers; In addition to clerical duties, you will be called upon to engage and assist with Low- Income & Supportive individuals we serve. This staff member cultivates and maintains a network of resources/information to support cashflow and minimize Homeless recidivism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Duties
- Access/ Shutdown Notices
- Maintain Yardi System for Entire Portfolio- send weekly reports to respective PM.
- Create / Produce Welcome Packets for New Movins.
- Create / Circulate Monthly Newsletter.
- Communicate with Intake Department- Produce / Maintain Vacancy report as advised by respective PM on readiness.
Mass Mailing
- Issue Conduct Letters for Leasing & House Rule Violations.
- Support Respective PM with "no contact" communication.
Outreach - **Larger Portfolios**
- Support Respective PM with Rental Arrears & Compliance Follow up.
Qualifications
- 5 plus years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Associate degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Some knowledge/experience working in the social service or related field is preferred
- Drivers License preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred
- Familiarity with housing inspections, local and Federal vouchers, Municipal entities such as HPD,DOB,ECB & LIHTC
