We are in search of a Consulting Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. As a Consulting Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing low voltage systems. You will work closely with our team of engineers to ensure that our systems are installed, maintained, and optimized to the highest standard. This position requires a deep understanding of low voltage technology, including rack and stack, fiber installation, and hot/cold aisle containment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement low voltage systems based on client needs and project requirements.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot rack and stack, fiber installation, and hot/cold aisle containment systems.
- Provide technical expertise to clients and team members, offering innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and optimize low voltage systems.
- Conduct system tests to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of all systems and installations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
- Proven expertise in rack and stack, setting cabinets, installing ladder racks, and fiber tray/spillways.
- Running coper/fiber.
- Labeling.
- Install hot/cold aisle containment systems.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems and their applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in relevant software and technology.
