Low Voltage Project Manager
Requirements:
- Project management experience in construction, technology, telecommunications, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: CAT5, telecommunications, fiber, construction, or structured cabling IT.
- Familiarity with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs.
- At least 2 years of experience managing projects.
- Proficiency with computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operational tasks.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closeout.
- Hire and assign resources as needed for projects.
- Create bid sheets and contractual proposals for small projects.
- Order materials and equipment for projects.
- Conduct quality and safety audits to ensure high standards for materials and equipment.
- Provide weekly and monthly financial forecasting and revenue projection reports.
- Offer logistical project support and maintain comprehensive project files.
- Manage project scheduling and billing activities.
- Evaluate and estimate selected bid opportunities.
- Uphold high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Delegate tasks effectively through team resources.
- Travel to customer locations to provide technical training, perform site walks and surveys, and build client relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining day-to-day communication and representing the company.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, technicians, the sales team, management, engineers, and other departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Comply with all project safety requirements as mandated by OSHA and company policies.
