Low Code Automation Engineer PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Low Code Automation Engineer to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The low code automation engineer will work collaboratively within a team environment developing custom automated solutions to improve operational efficiency. This individual will participate in POC’s innovation efforts, and end-to-end process optimization solutions incorporating the latest technologies. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in requirements gathering and scoping sessions. Optimize and develop business processes to improve efficiencies. Responsible for using technologies to automate business processes, manage data integrations, integrate systems, and provide automated testing solutions. Interact with end users to define their needs; building integration mechanisms to exchange data between applications. Design and develop applications and database solutions to assist with improving business processes, supporting and documenting in-house developed software. Assist with overall solution architecture design, clarify requirements, translating business processes to system requirements, developing solutions, testing, and providing support for break/fix activities as needed. Advise senior architects on best possible solutions to a given problem. Provide development estimates, multi-task across systems to design, code, complete code assignments, support all testing, unit test complex system functionality and system integration tests, support production migration and release activities and post-production activities, and document system design. Stay current on new technologies, developing standards, community initiatives, utilizing these within projects appropriately. Work on new initiatives as technologies and organizational needs evolve. Create solutions that adhere to defined automation coding standards, guidelines, naming conventions. Create solutions that integrate across technologies. Create solutions that adhere to performance guidelines and measurements. Utilize approved development migration tools. Provide documentation to support requirements, architecture, development, testing, migration and implementation activities. Test and support all testing activities. Support urgent production issues as needed. Respond to other activities and initiatives deemed necessary to ensure successful day-to-day operations and urgent or crisis type requests otherwise supporting the Objective and Vision of the IT organization. Manage expectations of the deliverables with functional business analysts, business partners, and support as solutions and problem resolutions are executed and delivered. Collaborate within a team of developers and work in an international team environment and identify opportunities to improve processes and applications. Ensure that all internal and external compliance requirements, such as SOX, are followed. QUALIFICATIONS: BS in relevant education. Computer science or related degree, MS or MBA a plus Creative problem solver. Ability to analyze problems and determine practical solutions - Analytical, and problem-solving abilities with ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair issues, and recommend technical solutions and alternatives Action oriented - high level of motivation and results oriented, self-starter Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level across IT team and business organization Demonstrated ability to facilitate conflict while working with parties toward acceptable solution which satisfies spirit of requirement 5+ years work experience within an IT organization for mid-sized organization a plus 3+ years' related professional experience in low code app design and architecture. Developing, maintaining, implementing through adopting various technologies automating business process models, and supporting applications. 3+ years' of demonstrated skill designing and implementing intelligent automations using the Microsoft Development Platform - Experiences with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and integrating these tools with non-Microsoft products. Experience with Power Virtual Agents a plus 2+ years experience with MS Dataverse 2+ years experience with SQL with demonstrated knowledge and the ability to formulate and support queries Azure DevOps experience required Visual Studio experience required Experience with PCF custom controls and typescript is required C# experience is a plus Experience with industry software such as RightAngle is a plus Experience building advanced customizations using JavaScript, plugins, web resources a plus Boomi experience a plus Experience in system diagnostics, such as performance tuning, capacity planning, and availability analysis a plus Experience and skills developing quality user-interfaces and user-experiences Oil industry, accounting experience with statistical analysis, and data visualization is a plus, and/or trading background is a plus.
