Loupe Assembly Technician - Spherion

Assembly Technician that will be trained in one or more assembly areas, those could be:

• Ocular/scope assembly
• Converging (scope alignment)
• Loupe detailing (final cleaning)
• Laser engraving
• Tray kitting
• Headlight installation
• Packaging
• Measurement review (G code)

Highlights:

• Temp to Hire
• Pay rate: $18
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3pm
• Madison, Wisconsin

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment to produce high-quality optical components and assemble them as required for loupe manufacturing.
• Comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO procedures.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with prescription lenses and diagnostic equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Speak, Read and write English
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs frequently
• Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to work overtime during week and weekends as needed
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day
