About the Job
*The Day-to-Day
- Patrol the property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect hotel assets;
- Answer house calls, assist guests, and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operations;
- Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports;
- Maintain accurate records while performing basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, and shift activity log;
- Support leadership by checking alarm systems and safety and fire equipment systems;
- Closely monitor security of building doors, service areas, and delivery areas;
- Assist in roof top closing procedures;
- Carry out any reasonable request by management that is capable of being performed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Acting at the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) on the hotel's overnight shift.
Needed to be successful in this position?
- Highest attention to detail, timeliness on projects and professional conduct.
- Prior experience in similar position.
- Strong organizational skillset.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior experience, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and Class-D (unarmed) license preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
