Your Role:

As a Loss Control Representative II, you will partner with clients to improve workplace safety, reduce risks, and identify innovative solutions for long-term success. This position offers a balance of autonomy and collaboration, with approximately 80% of your time spent on-site with clients and 20% on administrative tasks.

Service Area: The primary service area is concentrated within Chicago and the Collar Counties, with potential travel to Central Illinois as needed.

• Provide safety consultations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct client service visits, followed by detailed written recommendations.
• Monitor loss trends using CCMSI’s systems and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and deliver safety training and educational programs.
• Conduct loss control surveys and contribute to client service plans.
• Collaborate with clients to address safety risks and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure proper documentation for safe record retention.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in loss control or safety consulting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Nice-to-have: Experience or expertise in ergonomics.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional certifications or willingness to pursue them.
• Experience serving industries such as municipalities, manufacturing, and healthcare.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends to enhance client safety programs.

Work Environment:

This hybrid position requires reliable travel to client sites. A professional demeanor and exceptional communication skills are essential.
