Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship Administrator - Boca Raton, FL.
The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University is dedicated to providing exceptional medical education and fostering the development of future physicians and healthcare leaders. Our Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) offers a unique learning experience that integrates clinical training across multiple specialties.The Office of Medical Education is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) Administrator. This administrative position plays a critical role in supporting the implementation and coordination of our LIC program within the Year 3 curriculum, including administering the learning management platform, tracking student assignments, coordinating academic sessions, and fostering relationships with affiliate faculty members.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Manage and maintain the learning management platform used for the LIC program, ensuring that it meets the needs of students, faculty, and staff.
+ Provide technical support and training to users, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
+ Track student assignments and progress throughout the LIC program, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
+ Communicate with students and faculty regarding assignments, deadlines, and requirements.
+ Coordinate logistics for educational sessions including scheduling, room reservations, catering, and audiovisual support.
+ Collaborate with faculty members to develop session agendas and secure guest speakers or presenters as needed.
+ Assist in the development and coordination of activities for other Year 3 curriculum components.
+ Foster positive relationships with affiliate faculty members who participate in the LIC program, serving as a point of contact for communication and support.
+ Coordinate orientation sessions and ongoing training opportunities for affiliate faculty to ensure their success in teaching and mentoring students.
+ Collaborate with the Office of Program Evaluation and Assessment team to support data collection, analysis, and reporting related to the LIC program and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate with the Year 3 leadership team to implement changes and enhancements based on feedback and assessment data.
+ Serve as a proctor for exams across the undergraduate medical education curriculum.
+ Support administrative operations in other areas of the curriculum as needed.
+ Attend and support College of Medicine and medical education special events as needed.
+ Complete special projects and/or other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and one (1) year of appropriate professional/specialized experience or a high school diploma and five (5) years of appropriate professional/specialized experience required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
A bachelor’s degree.
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or academic setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other administrative software applications.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders within the university and health care community.
Proficiency in using learning management systems and other educational technology tools is preferred.
Ability to respect and navigate sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality in all matters required.
Consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
Salary:
$43,888 - $45,000 per year.
