Qualifications

• Certification: Current CA 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit (or in progress—application may take up to 8 weeks).
• Experience: Background in teaching or tutoring Biology or Spanish is preferred.
• Skills: Effective classroom management, clear communication, and a commitment to student engagement and growth.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Long-Term Substitute Teacher

• Deliver engaging lessons in Biology or Spanish 1, following the curriculum and ensuring continuity of learning for students.
• Foster a positive classroom environment, ensuring students feel supported and inspired.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve academic goals.
• Collaborate with staff and administration to maintain a cohesive learning experience.
